John Bodie
Wealth Management Adviser
John is a Financial Adviser with over 20 years’ experience providing tailored investment advice to family groups, charitable organisations and professional investors. He works across a broad range of financial securities, including derivatives, and brings deep industry knowledge to his role.
Before joining JBWere in 2004, John held senior positions at AMP and ABN Amro Craigs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration from Victoria University, an MBA from Massey University, and has completed Level 1 and 2 of the Family Business Advisory program through the University of Adelaide. He is also a member of Family Business New Zealand.
John is passionate about supporting his community and has served on the boards of a major not-for-profit and a children’s charity. He is currently a Trustee of the New Zealand Rowing Foundation.
Outside of work, he’s a keen recreational cyclist, a former club rugby coach, and enjoys family life with his wife and three daughters.
