Hunter is passionate about working with clients to understand their investment needs and motivations. He builds on their existing successes by designing tailored investment solutions and advising those preparing for business exit, helping them achieve both their financial and lifestyle goals.
Placing importance on excellent communication, he explains complex issues in a way that ensures clients feel informed and confident in their decisions.
Before joining Jarden (now JBWere), Hunter was an Executive Wealth Manager at ASB, advising commercial, corporate and private banking clients, including some of the bank’s largest relationships.
He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 2004, later becoming a Director. During this time, he worked internationally in Dubai and London, specialising in international tax and alternative investment fund structuring.
Originally from Wellington, Hunter holds an LLB and BCA from Victoria University. He now lives in Auckland with his family and spends time outside work with his two children, as well as enjoying trips to Lake Taupō when he can.
