Brenda calls Wellington home – the coffee capital of New Zealand – and brings over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services. Before joining JBWere, she was a Senior Private Banker at BNZ, and throughout her career she has focused on working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and for-purpose organisations. Her passion lies in creating tailored investment strategies that help clients protect and grow their wealth across generations, while achieving meaningful, purpose-driven outcomes.
With a Masters in Finance (Dist.) and as an NZX Adviser, Brenda combines deep technical expertise with a client-first approach. She is known for her integrity and commitment to delivering trusted advice, and regularly contributes to thought leadership on philanthropy and legacy planning.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoys family time with her cherished grandchildren, volunteers as VP for a local dance society, organises competitions for young dancers, and helps deliver financial literacy programmes in her community.
