Anne Rodda

Manager - Philanthropic and Family Advisory Services

Anne manages the workflow of the Philanthropic Services team and works with private, families and for-purpose clients to support their governance, impact strategy, and the long-term stewardship of philanthropic wealth.

Originally a professional cellist, Anne has a wealth of senior leadership, governance and strategic, communications and complex stakeholder management expertise, specifically in the for-purpose sector.  She has led a variety of iconic arts and educational institutions, programmes and major events.  Anne brings nearly 30 years of executive management experience since migrating to Aotearoa New Zealand from the USA.  Her degrees are from the University of Arizona and the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music; her post-graduate professional education covers Governance, Project Management, and Advising Family Businesses.

Anne has consulted to local governments and the boards and senior leadership of dozens of New Zealand businesses on governance, effective management, and fundraising; she has served on Government, Arts and Sport boards and is the co-author of Tomorrow’s Board Diversity: Role of Creatives, 2020.
